Here is your chance to build your ideal mei tai!  Select from our large fabric selection, choose your strap style and color, and add on any extras that may make this the perfect baby carrier for you and your baby.

 

Enjoy making your fabric selection from our huge assortment of choices.  We truly have something for any taste.  From classic prints to the funkiest retro, we've got it covered! 

 

The body style of our mei tais are tapered, larger at the top and narrower at the bottom.  (Dimensions are apx. 19" high, 14" at the base, 17" at the top)  We include a fold down headrest to offer your baby's head a little extra support when they are sleeping (for newborns and smaller babies we recommend turning the headrest inward to offer the best support).  The headrest can be omitted if you prefer.  If you do not tell us that this is your preference we will include the headrest.  Mei tais ordered with a sleep hood will not have a fold down headrest.

 

Each mei tai is paired with a solid color back and matching straps, with the exception of our double sided prints.  For each custom made mei tai, please select your preference for strap color, this will also be the color for the reverse side of your carrier.  Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about matching your fabrics.  We will do a custom strap color (colors that are not listed in the options below)  for your mei tai if you prefer, although we do not stock every color and additional charges may apply. 

 

Then, select the straps that you would prefer.  We have two choices available.  Our 4 1/2" straps are narrower straps and are padded.  This is a great choice for those who have narrow shoulders, or those who simply prefer a padded shoulder strap.

 

 

Our second option is our 8 1/2" wrap style strap.  Thses are not padded, as they spread out further across the shoulders and back, very similiar to the way that a wrap would fit and distribute weight.

 

   

Our standard length for our straps is apx. 70".  This is generally a great fit for adults wearing sizes small through XL.  If you prefer shorter straps, please let us know and we can easily make that adjustment.  We also can add additional length to the straps, just add them to your order.  Please specify what length you would prefer for your straps.

 

Minkee fabric is available in limited quantities.  Please contact us for color availability if you would like to have your carrier matched with a coordinating minkee fabric.

 

Custom orders will be completed in the order that they are recieved.  At the present time we have an estimated two week turn around time.  If we expect that your order will take longer than two weeks to complete we will contact you immediately.
