German Storchenwiege woven wraps are made to last. They can be handed down through many generations. Because of the special weave they embrace your baby perfectly, yet do not wear or stretch out. A Storchenwiege distributes the weight of your baby evenly on your shoulder for many hours of baby wearing enjoyment.

All cotton used in the Storchenwiege Baby Sling is from strictly regulated cotton farms and are all Oeko Text 100 certified cotton, free from chemicals or residue in the fabric.
- In both directions (warp and woof ) of the cross weave Storchenwiege uses a double strength, not simple thread. This helps support baby's back, the correct leg positions, baby wearer's shoulders and back better than other wrap style slings.

Not only does the strong weave help the durability of the baby sling, it also holds the tied knot better as it doesn't give after the baby is placed in it.

This special weave does not influence the elasticity which is necessary to embrace your baby. Neither does it influece the airflow through the woven fabric.

The fabric is prewashed and preshrunk.

All slings are washed and dried without tension on the fabric.

No chemicals are used in any of the proceedure.

Most women can tie everything with a 4.10 m or 4.60 m. For men wearing babies a size 4.60 m or 5.20 m works best. It is best to get the most comfortable size for the main baby wearer, everybody else still has plenty of options.
Machine wash on gentle or regular cycle with like colors. Use mild detergent sparingly. If you have hard water you might want to use a water softener. Please do not use fabric softener ever, it ruins the fabric. It is not recommended for drying in a dryer and it is not guaranteed for drying in the dryer, due to the possibility of shrinkage.
