Hybrid Sling Sizing:
The UpMama sling will still function correctly if it is a bit too small and, to a lesser degree, a bit too big. The placement of the curved seam and the overall length will change but as long as the seam is not up on your back or threaded through the rings, the sling will still function. Ideally, the curved seam will be between your side and your bellybutton and land somewhere on your baby's body. If there is a large difference in size between parents each should havetheir own sling.

The design of the UpMama! sling does reduce the learning curve, but it will still take practice to become an expert "babywearer". The first few times you put a diaper on your baby or gave her a bath was probably a little awkward too. Baby slings are the same, it often takes several tries to get it exactly right so the more you practice the better!
